NYC Day Trip (April 2008)
We had a great time in NYC. Although the forecast was questionable, it ended up being a beautiful spring day.
Our group at Rockefeller Center.
The flowers at Rockefeller Center showed that spring was finally here.
Next, we were off to a behind the scenes escorted tour of Radio City Music Hall. The Grand Foyer was enormous and beautiful.
The theater was breathtaking.

At the end of the tour, we had a question, answer and photo session with one of the Rockettes.
Afterwards, we were off to lunch at the Carnegie Deli.
Now that's a sandwich! Just one of many that adorned our table.
After lunch, we strolled through (and rested in) a portion of Central Park.
Laura bravely volunteered to help out some street performers. We're happy to report that Laura survived their death defying feats.
We didn't have time to make it to the real Lady Liberty, so we took advantage of this smaller version outside a city shop.
No photo journal of NYC would be complete without a shot of the city skyline.
