Duck Pin Bowling

Lanes have been reserved for us at 7 PM. We have to pay as a group so it will be helpful if everyone brings cash. The cost is $5.25 per game per person and $3.75 for shoe rentals. We usually bowl 2 games.

NYC Day Trip

Laura and Michael have planned a fun day for us in New York City. Thank you Laura and Michael!

We will be using Hunt Valley Motor Coach for round-trip transportation. The cost for the bus is $55 per person. We arrive in NYC approximately 10:30 AM and leave at 6:30 PM. Although some of their buses stop at all the pickup points, it is possible we may not all be on the same bus, but will meet up in the city.

Everyone has to book their own transportation with Hunt Valley Motor Coach (800-924-1359) http://huntvalleymotorcoach.com/newyorkcity/. The pickup location and times are posted below. The fare is non-refundable, but they will issue a 30 day credit if you have to cancel.

We will go rain or shine (shine would be better:)).

The following is a tentative schedule for our day in the city:

A free building tour of the New York Public Library 42 & 5th Avenue. After getting an overview of the fancy architecture, we can stop by some of the exhibits in the hall (There's all kinds of exhibits from Candide to Winnie the Pooh - something for everyone) and walk through the fancy research hall.

Lunch somewhere in the area.

A walk through Bryant Park (next to the Library).

Visit Grand Central Station.

Additional possibilities: Empire State Building / MACY'S Herald Square.

Lisa & Howard have planned a wonderful weekend for us at the Allenberry Resort Inn & Playhouse. Thank you Lisa & Howard!

We are doing the 18hr sensation package, which includes lodging, dinner, show (My Fair Lady) and breakfast the next morning. The price is $342 all inclusive for 2. Allenberry requires a $100 deposit to reserve the room. There is a 72 hour cancellation policy to refund the deposit. The rooms are reserved under Lisa Berman's name.

Allenberry is only holding the reservation until Feb 21st. They have a block of rooms for us in the same lodge. If you reserve after 2/21 you may not be in the same lodge with everyone else.
